Vanessa Woolf is a professional storyteller- but back in the 1990s she did a very different job.
She was the only female spark in the UK film industry: a qualified electrician and HGV driver, crewing hundreds of pop videos, TV shows and movies like Star Wars, Harry Potter and James Bond.  "Lights POWER Action" is her true story about that decade, exploring the landscape of work, identity and belonging through her unique perspective as a "girl spark".
Peek behind the scenes of iconic movies, be uplifted, empowered and illuminated!
Doors: 6.30 for 7pm start.

About Vanessa:

Stormont NI, and many TV/radio performances. She is founder and lead storyteller of Connection With Wonder and passionate about supporting  new storytellers. Her C.V. includes international work and collaborations with dozens of major museums, cultural institutions,
publishers, filmmakers, artists, academics, and scientists!

Very atmospheric venue at the Asylum Chapel. A warm welcome ensured we were not too cold! Blankets were made available, and delicious hot chocolate was on sale to warm us up in the interval. The storytelling of the Viy was superb and kept me enthralled, and there was a nice musical accompaniment.
